Job summary

Les Schwab Brake & Alignment Technician position involves servicing and installing brake, alignment and suspension components while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced shop environment. You will test and service hydraulic/electric brake systems, drivetrain components, tires, TPMS, batteries, and related parts, including offsite road-service work.

On-the-job training is provided; valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.
• On-the-job training provided for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing brake, alignment, suspension, drive train and power steering parts.
• Testing and installing batteries, mounting/dismounting tires, and rebalancing wheels.
• Replacing, rebuilding and calibrating TPMS components; operating service vehicles for offsite work.
• Deliver excellent customer service and refer customers when needed.
