Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, and to perform related duties with an emphasis on customer service. The role includes battery testing, tire mounting/dismounting, TPMS calibration, and offsite service when needed.

Strong work ethic, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds are required. On-the-job training is provided in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Excellent customer service in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install/service brake, alignment, suspension, drive train, and power steering components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS.
• Use equipment and hand tools; assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles; perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service; refer customers as needed.
