Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service hydraulic and electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, and TPMS components, while delivering outstanding customer service and following company policies.

You will perform tire mounting and balancing, test drives, and offsite roadside support, with on-the-job training provided. The role emphasizes safety, physical effort, and teamwork in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
