Job summary

Les Schwab is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician in California to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components while delivering excellent customer service. You will utilize tools and equipment to install, test, and calibrate systems, drive trains, and TPMS as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills in a rapid-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering components.
• Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies; rebalancing wheels; recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using specialized equipment and hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; operating service vehicles for offsite/emergency road service.
