Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in California is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, alignment, and suspension systems, install parts, and perform related tasks. You will test batteries, mount/dismount tires, rebalance wheels, calibrate TPMS, and occasionally drive service vehicles for offsite work.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 75 pounds with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds is required.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing/calibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service; refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
