Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in California is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves using hand tools and maintaining safety standards.

You will test batteries, handle tires and TPMS, and assist teammates. On-the-job training is provided. This full-time position offers benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
