Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Idaho is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment and suspension components, test batteries, and perform offsite road service when needed. You will work with customers and teammates to uphold high safety and quality standards.

On-the-job training is provided; the role includes lifting up to 75 lbs, a valid driver's license, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Competitive hourly pay plus a benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, suspension, alignment and drive-train components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, and calibrate TPMS.
• Use workshop tools and equipment.
• Assist other staff.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Refer customers to qualified colleagues.
