Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Twin Falls, ID is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brakes, alignments, suspensions, and related components. You will install, test, and calibrate TPMS, and drive/test vehicles as needed to ensure safety and quality.

The role emphasizes customer service and teamwork; on-the-job training is provided. A valid driver’s license is required, and you must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Benefits and a competitive wage are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
