Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Idaho. This role services and installs brake, alignment, and suspension components, and includes battery testing, tire work, TPMS calibration, and road service. You will operate tools, assist the team, and ensure top-notch customer service.

Applicants must have a valid driver's license and be able to lift heavy objects, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Frequent lifting up to 75 pounds and physical activity is expected.

Responsibilities

Install or service brake systems, including hydraulic/electric components.
Test and install batteries.
Dismount/mount tires and wheels, rebalance, and recalibrate TPMS.
Use shop tools and equipment to diagnose and repair vehicles.
Assist other team members and provide great customer service.
Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
Participate in offsite and emergency road service as needed.
Refer customers to qualified colleagues when appropriate.
