Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake systems, perform alignments, and install suspension components while delivering friendly customer service.

You will dismount/mount tires, test drive, and assist teammates, with on-the-job training provided; a valid driver’s license is required and the company offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing/rebuilding/calibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
