Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Washington state is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, suspension, and steering components and install parts according to company policies.

You will test drive vehicles, perform offsite road services, and deliver excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced environment. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Use equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
