Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Bend, OR is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components while delivering friendly, customer-focused service. You will test drive vehicles, operate service tools, support colleagues, and help customers by directing them to the right expert.

A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
Testing and installing batteries.
Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
Assisting other employees.
Test driving vehicles.
Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
Providing excellent customer service.
Refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
