Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Portland, OR is looking for a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components, and to deliver exceptional customer service. The role covers brake system work, tire mounting/balancing, TPMS calibration, and battery testing, with offsite road service as needed.

A valid driver's license is required and the position includes on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; bending, twisting, kneeling and squatting.
• Willingness to work in a team and follow company policies.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing brake, suspension, and alignment components; testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and TPMS recalibration.
• Using equipment and hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services; maintain high customer service standards.
