Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking Brake & Alignment Technicians to service brakes, suspension, alignment, and TPMS components while delivering exceptional customer service. You will install parts, test batteries, and balance wheels as part of routine maintenance.

Responsibilities include offsite road service, test drives, and using a variety of tools. On-the-job training and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
