Job summary

Capgemini seeks a Business Process Engineer to evaluate, map, and optimize complex enterprise workflows in government/defense environments. You will lead cross-functional workshops, craft as-is and to-be state models, and define KPIs to measure CPI. Collaboration with architecture, IT, and change mgmt will translate processes into system requirements and automation opportunities.

The role requires a BS degree, 4+ years in process improvement, and an active U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
4+ years in business process re-engineering or process improvement.
Active U.S. Government Security Clearance (Secret).
Excellent facilitation, interview, and mediation skills; strong written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities

Model complex workflows and create current-state and future-state maps (BPMN 2.0, UML).
Perform root-cause analyses and value-stream mapping to remove bottlenecks and drive efficiency.
Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to capture requirements and dependencies.
Define performance baselines, KPIs, and track CPI improvements over time.
Develop and maintain SOPs, process charters, playbooks, and governance materials.
Collaborate with change management to design rollout plans, training, and communications.
Translate optimized processes into system requirements and automation opportunities.
