Job summary

Capgemini seeks a Business Process Engineer to evaluate, map, and optimize complex enterprise workflows in government/defense environments. You will lead cross-functional workshops, craft as-is and to-be state models, and define KPIs to measure CPI. Collaboration with architecture, IT, and change mgmt will translate processes into system requirements and automation opportunities.

The role requires a BS degree, 4+ years in process improvement, and an active U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
  • 4+ years in business process re-engineering or process improvement.
  • Active U.S. Government Security Clearance (Secret).
  • Excellent facilitation, interview, and mediation skills; strong written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities

  • Model complex workflows and create current-state and future-state maps (BPMN 2.0, UML).
  • Perform root-cause analyses and value-stream mapping to remove bottlenecks and drive efficiency.
  • Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to capture requirements and dependencies.
  • Define performance baselines, KPIs, and track CPI improvements over time.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, process charters, playbooks, and governance materials.
  • Collaborate with change management to design rollout plans, training, and communications.
  • Translate optimized processes into system requirements and automation opportunities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Industrial Engineering / Systems Engineering / MIS or related
