Job summary
Ocean Casino Resort is seeking a Box Office Supervisor to lead daily ticketing operations, build and manage shows in Ticketmaster, and supervise box office staff and ushers. The role serves as a liaison with artist agencies and management, ensuring smooth ticketing and seating for all productions.
The supervisor will schedule staff, handle holds, comps, and group sales, pull reports, and collaborate with Ticketmaster on seating layouts. Strong leadership and troubleshooting are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in box office management or supervision.
- Strong knowledge of leading ticketing software applications (e.g. Ticketmaster).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily ticket selling operations and staff.
- Build shows in the Ticketmaster system and coordinate seating layouts.
- Liaise with outside artist agencies and management.
- Oversee ticketing requests, holds, comps, and group sales.
- Reconcile box office and show settlements; provide reports to management.
- Provide coaching to staff and handle customer issues.
