The Atlanta Opera is seeking a Box Office Sales Manager to lead ticketing, subscriptions, group sales, and merchandising operations. You will partner with marketing to implement promotions, manage customer service, and ensure accurate reporting.

Ideal candidates bring extensive Tessitura experience, strong leadership and data analysis skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends during performances. This role supports the new facility launch with expanded retail responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in box office, ticketing, or sales operations in performing arts or live events.
• Proficiency in Tessitura or similar ticketing/CRM system.
• Experience with point-of-sale and e-commerce platforms; box office or sales management experience helps.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day box office management, processing subscriptions, single tickets, group sales, and comps.
• Supervise and train staff in customer service, sales, and Tessitura procedures.
• Maintain performances, packages, and promotions in Tessitura; troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate house scaling, ticket inventory, and access codes with marketing/production.
• Oversee Shop Opera retail sales including merch planning, POS, and online fulfillment.
• Assist with streaming subscription sales and sales related to new facility.
