Job summary

Shenandoah University’s Box Office in Winchester, VA seeks a Box Office Manager to lead all box office operations on the main campus. The role oversees Tessitura database, ticket sales, renewals, group sales, and donations, and reports to leadership.

40 hours/week, including nights and weekends, with benefits. The successful candidate will supervise staff, ensure top-notch customer service, manage patron communications, and contribute to audience development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of box office or equivalent experience in sales/customer service and/or database management.
• Bachelor’s degree or industry/job-specific equivalent.
• A pre-employment background check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all box office operations and ensure excellent customer service.
• Manage Tessitura database; process ticket sales, renewals, group sales and donations.
• Run financial and ticket-based reports for leadership.
• Supervise Senior Box Office Associate and box office staff (work-study and hired).
• Coordinate patron communications to support audience engagement.
