The City of Sarasota is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented ticket agent to process sales by phone and in person at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. You will resolve transaction issues, issue duplicates, and maintain accurate daily sales records while providing excellent customer service to patrons.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, at least six months of customer service experience, and solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and light clerical work desired.
• Must be able to handle cash and perform computations accurately.

Responsabilités

• Make ticket sales from telephone orders and box office visits.
• Research transaction problems and make corrections, exchanges, and duplicates as appropriate.
• Post to computer systems and compile daily cash/credit card sales reports.
• Assist patrons at the front desk and respond to inquiries and comments.
