City of Sarasota is hiring for a part-time, temporary position at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall to support ticket sales and guest services. The role requires customer service experience, basic computer skills, and cash handling abilities.

Responsibilities include handling telephone and in-person sales, resolving transaction issues, and assisting patrons with inquiries. Applicants should be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills and light clerical work preferred.
• Must be able to handle cash accurately and efficiently.
• Able to interact with the public in a courteous manner.

Responsabilidades

• Sell tickets by telephone orders and at box office.
• Research and correct transaction problems, including exchanges and duplicates.
• Post transactions to computer and compile daily cash/credit reports.
• Assist patrons at front desk and respond to inquiries and comments.
• Provide safekeeping for lost and found items.
• Operate the Van Wezel Call Center Telephone System.
