Job summary

Humane Society of Greater Dayton is seeking a Store Manager for Dayton Humane & Co., a boutique-style store supporting lifesaving programs. You will lead retail operations, drive revenue, oversee donations and inventory, manage staff and volunteers, and build community partnerships to further the Humane Society’s mission.

The role requires proven leadership in retail or nonprofit settings, strong financial acumen, and the ability to coach teams, optimize pricing, and deliver exceptional customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in retail management or nonprofit retail.
• Demonstrated success growing revenue through strategic planning, pricing, merchandising, and operational improvements.
• Strong financial acumen with experience analyzing sales data, budgets, margins, and performance metrics.
• Experience leading, coaching, hiring, and developing teams.
