Job summary

The Rose Hotel by Hilton a Tapestry Collection in Rosemont, IL is seeking a Night Auditor to blend accounting precision with warm hospitality during overnight hours. You will reconcile daily transactions, balance accounts, and generate reports while assisting guests with arrivals, departures, and special requests.

This pivotal overnight position requires independence, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel front desk or accounting experience preferred; luxury or boutique environment a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable with numbers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems (OnQ preferred).
• Discretion handling confidential information with integrity.
• High emotional intelligence and guest empathy.
• Basic understanding of accounting and nightly audit routines.
• Availability for overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Must stand for long periods and lift up to 10 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for guests during overnight hours with warmth and poise.
• Execute nightly audit procedures and balance accounts.
• Process arrivals, departures, and reservation changes accurately.
• Resolve guest issues with timely follow‑up and satisfaction.
• Monitor security and conduct property walks per protocol.
• Oversee overnight front desk operations and cash handling.
• Prepare folios and post charges for day shift handover.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance as needed.
• Maintain clean, welcoming front desk and lobby areas.
• Support data entry, backups, and special projects for teams.
