Job summary

The Williamsburg Winery is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager for Wedmore Place, a 28-room boutique hotel on the winery grounds in Williamsburg, VA. Lead daily hotel operations and guest experience while collaborating with winery leadership to deliver exceptional service.

This hands-on, guest-facing role requires strong leadership, staffing, and problem-solving skills, with availability on weekends and holidays as needed to meet occupancy and business needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hotel management or hospitality leadership experience.
• Experience managing a boutique hotel or small-to-mid-sized property preferred.
• Experience with front desk, housekeeping, reservations, and guest-service operations.
• Familiarity with OTA platforms (Expedia, Booking.com) and revenue metrics such as ADR/RevPAR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, breakfast, pool, and guest bar.
• Ensure a welcoming, polished guest experience from reservation to checkout.
• Lead and develop hotel team, manage scheduling and training.
• Monitor revenue, room inventory, and distribution channels to optimize occupancy and revenue.
