Job summary

Round Barn Estate, part of Moersch Hospitality Group, seeks an energetic Assistant Manager to support daily operations of its winery, distillery, brewery, and hospitality experiences. You will lead from the floor, coach teams, and uphold standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences while developing knowledge of the Round Barn portfolio.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, restaurant, tasting room, bar, retail, or venue leadership experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working in a high-volume hospitality environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, cocktails, or beverage service is preferred; willingness to learn is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing daily property operations and hospitality service.
• Serve as a manager-on-duty and provide visible leadership throughout assigned shifts.
• Ensure opening, operating, shift-change, and closing procedures are completed accurately and consistently.
• Monitor guest flow, service levels, staffing, and operational needs throughout the property.
• Maintain a strong presence in guest-facing areas and proactively identify opportunities to improve the guest experience.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally, promptly, and in accordance with company standards.
• Support high-volume operations, including weekends, holidays, special events, festivals, and peak seasonal periods.
