Job summary

The Williamsburg Winery is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead the daily operations at Wedmore Place, a 28-room boutique hotel on winery grounds. You will oversee front desk, housekeeping, breakfast, pool, and guest bar, ensuring a welcoming, polished guest experience from reservation through checkout.

As a guest-facing leader, you will manage reservations, distribution channels, and staff, while collaborating with winery leadership to deliver exceptional experiences and drive guest

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in hotel management or hospitality leadership
• Experience leading boutique hotel operations preferred
• Proven ability to supervise front desk, housekeeping, reservations, and guest services
• Familiarity with hotel PMS and online travel agencies

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, breakfast, pool, and guest bar
• Ensure a welcoming, polished guest experience from reservation to check-out
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness and property readiness
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and service issues
• Lead and develop hotel staff, schedule, and performance management
• Promote Wine Club membership and guest engagement with winery offerings
• Coordinate reservations and revenue management across channels
• Monitor payroll, budgeting, and cost controls
• Ensure safety, policy compliance, and interdepartmental collaboration
• Support weddings, groups, and winery events
