The successful candidate will assist the Housekeeping Manager, act as MOD, and manage daily tasks while maintaining brand standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hotel management experience in housekeeping or a similar department.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Proven knowledge of Opera PMS preferred.
• Commitment to guest service excellence and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in training, motivating, and inspiring staff to deliver exceptional guest service and adhere to brand standards.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) in the absence of senior management.
• Open and close the Housekeeping Department as scheduled.
• Conduct and/or attend daily team briefings.
• Perform inspections of VIP rooms, guest rooms, and common areas to ensure cleanliness, order, and safety.
• Train and monitor performance of room attendants and housepersons; provide clear communication, guidance, and coaching.
• Assign daily housekeeping boards and manage workloads to ensure tasks are completed within shift.
• Oversee the proper care and use of supplies, equipment, and housekeeping areas.
• Ensure compliance with LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards and enforce hotel COVID-19 safety protocols.
• Maintain appropriate par levels of guest supplies and assist with inventory control.
• Monitor staff adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize Opera PMS for room assignments and operational reporting.
• Maintain knowledge of property amenities and local area attractions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
