Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking an experienced bartender to join our team. You will prepare and serve drinks with professional, courteous service and build relationships with guests to encourage return visits.

The role requires enthusiasm, strong wine and spirits knowledge, and the ability to handle cash/credit transactions accurately while maintaining a polished, welcoming bar environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of bartending experience preferred.
• Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences.
• Excellent wine and spirits knowledge with strong communication.
• Knowledge of credit card and cash handling procedures and tip-out sheets.
• Food Handler and Alcohol Serving Certifications (if applicable).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, serve food and beverages promptly.
• Pour drinks per specifications and process orders in the POS with accuracy.
• Serve food and drinks, assist servers with orders.
• Notify a manager if a guest is intoxicated or rude.
• Unpack deliveries and stock the bar; maintain clean bar area.
• Follow uniform and grooming specifications and cooperate with team.
• We may take on additional responsibilities as needed.
