Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a bartender to deliver exceptional service at our bar. You will prepare and serve drinks in a professional, courteous manner, build personal connections with guests, and support the overall guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, knowledge of wine and spirits, and the ability to handle payments and provide accurate billing. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is often required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of bartending experience is preferred.
• Excellent wine and spirits knowledge and strong communication/presentation skills.
• Comfort with credit card and cash handling procedures and tip-out sheets.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and promptly serve food and beverages.
• Pour drinks per specifications and process orders in the POS system.
• Serve food and drinks and assist servers with orders.
• Notify a manager if a guest is intoxicated or disruptive.
• Stock bar supplies and clean equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area and follow grooming standards.
• Communicate effectively with team and management.
• Unpack deliveries and stock the bar as needed.
• Be flexible and take on additional responsibilities as required.
