Job summary

Kimpton Sylvan Hotel in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Front Desk Agent for on-site, full-time work. You will assist guests with arrival and departure, input information into the computer system, and promote hotel programs.

Prior hotel experience and strong guest communications are preferred, with a focus on delivering a warm, professional guest experience. Responsibilities include handling registrations, processing payments, answering questions about local attractions, and resolving guest concerns

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Hotel/front desk experience preferred.
• Strong calculator skills for moderate math tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests.
• Ability to stand and move throughout front office.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, sincere welcome and provide information on outlets and local attractions.
• Complete registration and input guest details into the system; manage room rates and guest counts.
• Handle check-out, settle accounts, and post charges to guest accounts.
• Answer phones promptly and relay messages; deliver welcome folders and keys as needed.
• Assist with guest requests, resolve complaints, and maintain calm during busy periods.
