Job summary

The Darcy Hotel in Washington, DC is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, handle reservations, and manage guest accounts with professional service. The role requires overnight availability and weekend coverage in a boutique, hospitality setting.

Responsibilities include checking in guests, processing payments, answering inquiries, and coordinating wake-up calls to ensure a seamless guest experience. This is a full-time, hourly position at The Darcy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior hotel/front desk experience preferred.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong cash handling and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete check-in procedures accurately.
• Assist with check-out and settle guest accounts promptly.
• Handle cash and credit transactions with precision.
• Answer inquiries and take reservations via phone and in person.
• Maintain guest relations with timely, knowledgeable responses.
• Operate PBX, wake-up calls, and guest paging as needed.
• Support other team members to ensure smooth front desk operations.
