Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in Boston, MA is seeking an Intern/Co-op in Site/Civil Engineering. You’ll support feasibility studies, design plans, field data collection, and technical reports while collaborating with senior leadership on varied land development projects.

You will gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, report writing, and design calculations, while developing your professional skills in a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year or advanced Civil Engineering degree.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D and MS Office required.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil/land development projects.
• Prepare and modify engineering documents and drawings using CAD tools.
• Assess soil, terrain, hydrology and topography for planning and design.
• Support zoning and permit assessments and project feasibility analyses.
• Provide field inspection support as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks.
