Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in Los Angeles, CA seeks an Intern/Co-op – Site/Civil Engineering to support site feasibility studies, fieldwork, and design tasks. You will assist with reports, calculations, and documentation under supervision.

You will gain hands-on experience by partnering with industry leaders on land development projects, learning AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and professional communication in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel may be required based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, schedules, cost estimates and design plans using engineering software.
• Assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological data and topographical data for planning and design.
• Support zoning, ordinance and permit assessments and feasibility analyses.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Apply engineering and advanced mathematics knowledge.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks.
• Perform other duties as requested.
