Job summary

Latham & Watkins LLP is seeking an Audiovisual Specialist to support and operate all AV systems in conference rooms at the Boston office. You will ensure equipment readiness, manage videoconferencing setups, and assist with laptop connectivity and room displays.

The role requires on-site presence 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, with a focus on high-quality audio/video delivery and confidentiality of firm data.

Qualifications

• Two years of technology support experience with PC hardware/software.
• Familiarity with AV/VC and conferencing tech.
• Certifications from manufacturers (Extron/Crestron) and AVIXA CTS preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or tech field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure AV/VC equipment in conference rooms functions and is ready before meetings.
• Perform daily checks of conference rooms and coordinate repairs with vendors/IT team.
• Operate conference room systems during meetings (video calls, camera/mic setup, live switching).
• Monitor conference room scheduling and resolve conflicts with supervisor as needed.
• Provide end-user tech support for laptops, docking, printing, and room displays.
• Protect sensitive information associated with Latham & Watkins.
