Job summary

Wayfair, Boston HQ, is seeking a Recruiter II for a hybrid in-office role (Mon-Thu in office, Fri remote). You will own end-to-end technical recruiting across Software Engineering, Data Science/ML, Analytics, and Product Management, building a strong pipeline and partnering with hiring managers to close top talent.

You will source passive candidates, run intakes, calibrate hiring bars, and manage offers with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of full-cycle tech recruiting experience.
• Ability to discuss Software Engineering, Data Science/ML, Analytics, or Product Management roles and what constitutes a good hire.
• Proven track record of owning requisitions and closing candidates against offers.
• Real sourcing skills to find and engage passive technical talent.
• Comfort using data to prioritize requisitions, diagnose bottlenecks, and defend search strategy.
• Strong organization and judgment to align hiring managers and candidates when priorities compete.

Responsibilities

• Own a full portfolio of technical requisitions end-to-end – sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing.
• Proactively map the talent market for hard-to-fill technical roles and build a qualified pipeline.
• Partner with engineering and technical hiring managers as a credible advisor and calibrate the bar.
• Own offer strategy and close competitive candidates, addressing hesitations early.
• Read funnel metrics to identify leakage points and adjust sourcing strategies.
• Deliver a clear, honest, and responsive candidate experience from outreach to offer.
