Job summary

BI WORLDWIDE, based in Boston, seeks a Business Development Director to identify opportunities, build relationships with Fortune 1000 accounts, and translate client strategies into actionable solutions. You will work with a team of subject matter experts to tailor marketing and professional services offerings that meet customer objectives.

Qualified candidates have 7+ years of direct B2B sales, a proven track record in large deals, and a four-year degree.

Qualifications

Must be currently located in the Boston area.
7+ years of direct B2B sales experience calling on Fortune 1000 companies.
Clear history of new business development selling marketing solutions or professional business services
Demonstrable sales success through prospecting and growing revenue in large accounts
Large volume sales experience (>$250k per sale)
Experience with broad range of sales cycles (3–12 months)
Career stability with a maximum of three employers in the last ten years
Four year college degree is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products is required; Proficiency with web, SaaS, and mobile applications a plus

Responsibilities

Identify potential business opportunities and develop relationships with Boston-area accounts.
Understand customer strategies with accounts and coordinate with subject matter experts to craft solutions.
