Job summary

AbbVie in Worcester, MA is seeking an Associate Border Security Analyst to manage day-to-day operations of our global firewall and security stack. You will work with Palo Alto platforms, Panorama, and Zscaler to implement changes and resolve complex issues end-to-end.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ related experience and strong communication skills to coordinate with network, infrastructure, and security teams. Some after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field; 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience with firewall operations and policies in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.
• Experience with Zscaler ZIA/ZPA/ZCC and VPN technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operational support of global network security infrastructure.
• Implement firewall and network security policy changes per procedures.
• Troubleshoot firewall, VPN, Zscaler, and connectivity issues using logs and captures.
• Provide technical support for escalated network security incidents and problems.
• Maintain documentation of network security configurations and procedures.
• Participate in upgrades, migrations, and security initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Contribute to after-hours and weekend support as needed.
