Customs and Border Protection is seeking Border Patrol Agents in the United States. BPAs serve as Federal Law Enforcement Officers with duties including border surveillance, questioning, and enforcing immigration and customs laws.

Formación

• One year of general work experience demonstrating leadership, decision-making, and composure under stress.
• A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.
• Combination of experience and education may qualify at a higher grade level.

Responsabilidades

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents to determine citizenship or violations.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders.
• Interpreting evidence and following tracks of illegal entry; performing checks and patrols.
• Patrolling international boundaries and coastal waterways using various assets.
