Agents will perform patrols, inspect documents, and prevent illicit entry while upholding border security and public safety. Candidates should meet the GL-5/7/9/11 qualification standards, be U.S.

Qualificações

• One year of general work experience demonstrating leadership, decision-making, and composure in stressful situations; knowledge of regulations and ability to gather information from records.
• Bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study from an accredited college or university; OR
• A combination of general work experience and college education submitted with the application.

Responsabilidades

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents to determine citizenship or violations.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers from borders using surveillance and night operations.
• Interpreting tracks and evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
• Performing farm, building, traffic, city, and transportation checks.
• Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using various assets for mission success.
