• Specialized experience may qualify for higher grades (GL-9/GS-11) including firearms handling and law enforcement aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of immigration and customs violations, inspecting documents and possessions.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance and various assets.
• Interpreting evidence and performing checks and patrols to fulfill CBP mission.
