Qualifications

• Experience taking charge, making decisions, and remaining calm in stressful situations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent completion from an accredited college or university.
• Combination of general work experience and college education may qualify for the position.

Responsibilities

• Detect and question individuals suspected of immigration or customs violations.
• Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders.
• Perform patrols and inspections using a variety of assets to fulfill the USBP mission.
• Maintain surveillance and use night-vision equipment when required.
