U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hiring full-time Border Patrol Agents at entry and mid-level grades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders using surveillance and night-vision equipment.
• Interpreting tracks and evidence of illegal entry or contraband during patrols and checks.
• Conducting farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, and city or transportation inspections.
• Patrolling borders and waterways using various vehicles and assets to fulfill CBP mission.
