Qualifications

• You qualify for GL-5 with one year of general work experience or education substitution.

• GL-9/GL-11 scale based on law enforcement experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Detect and question people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers near borders.
• Interpret tracks and evidence of illegal entry and contraband.
• Perform checks across farm, building, traffic and city patrols.
• Patrol international boundaries using various vehicles and assets.
