Christy Sports in Kentucky is hiring a Hardgoods Sales Associate/Bootfitter. You’ll help guests find skis, snowboards, boots, and bindings, and offer personalized bootfitting. With product knowledge and friendly service, you’ll ensure guests leave confident and excited for their mountain adventures.

This role focuses on delivering welcoming experiences and staying current with gear trends. Eligible benefits include a commission plan and a free ski pass, along with team support and opportunities

Qualifications

• Outgoing and friendly with strong interpersonal skills.
• Passion for skiing or snowboarding and willingness to learn.
• Flexible with schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lb.
• Basic computer skills for transactions and documentation.
• Strong English fluency, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and guide them to the right skis, snowboards, boots, and bindings.
• Provide personalized bootfitting to ensure comfort and fit.
• Share gear knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.
• Keep displays clean and inviting.
• Create memorable experiences for beginners and expert skiers alike.
• Be a team player, pitching in to keep the shop running smoothly.
• Other duties as assigned
