Job summary

Gorsuch is seeking a Boot Fitter at the Aspen Ski Cafe store, base of the gondola, Aspen, CO. This part-time seasonal role focuses on expert boot fitting, excellent guest service, and leveraging 3D scanning tech to achieve the perfect fit for guests in a fast-paced resort setting.

Ideal candidates have ski shop boot fitting experience, strong snow-sports knowledge, and comfort with POS and rental reservation software.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in ski shop and boot fitting is required.
• High level of Snowsports industry product knowledge.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy working in a team setting and helping other departments when needed.
• Experience with POS and Rental Reservations software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage and connect with customers by providing the best service.
• Prepare customer footbed fabrication, boot shell and liner modifications.
• Utilize a state of the art, 3D scanner to obtain images and precise measurement of customer’s foot and lower leg to determine the optimal fit.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
• Maintain shop and adhere to all shop keeping procedures.

The Boot Fitter job is more than a job. The Boot Fitter is part of a team that is instrumental in providing the best customer service to our guests, helping our guests choose accessories and ski apparel and gear/hardgoods. At Gorsuch Boot Fitting is top notch with the use of our 3D Scanning technology.

This part time position is located at our store Aspen Ski Cafe store located at the base of the gondola in Aspen.

General Duties of the Boot Fitter are:

What the Boot Fitter will need to be a great candidate:

• Previous experience in ski shop and boot fitting required.

• Experience with POS and Rental Reservations software preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $24- $30 hourly. The rate of pay is the range we reasonably expect to pay for this position and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
