Responsibilities

• Assess skiers' alignment through visual evaluation and physiological methods.
• Assess skiers' current and future ski ability through conversation to determine best product fit.
• Analyze basic foot functions relative to boot shape, kinesiology and stance.
• Understand boot modification techniques and stance alignment protocols.
• Present educational discussions on biomechanics to buyers.
• Demonstrate modifications and fabricate custom foot beds.
• Operate point of sale system and follow cash handling procedures.
• Perform additional daily store duties.

This role focuses on selling ski boots, custom and cut-to-fit footbeds, and performing boot modifications to improve comfort and performance for skiing and other athletic footwear. The position also supports sales of related hardgoods, including skis, snowshoes, ski bags, and accessories. There are seasonal full time and part time opportunities available. This role is compensated at $21.00/hr. Recruitment for this role will be ongoing through December. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS Previous experience in the ski/snowboard industry, preferred Previous boot fitting experience, preferred Customer service skills Strong computer literacy Self-motivated Strong communication, and organizational skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position will be required to work weekends and holidays.
