Job summary
Stratton is seeking a Boot Fitter to assess and fit ski boots, perform boot modifications, and support sales of related hardgoods. The role focuses on comfort and performance for skiing and athletic footwear and offers seasonal full-time and part-time opportunities, with compensation at $21.00/hr.
Recruitment continues through December. Candidates should have ski/snowboard knowledge, strong customer service and communication skills, and good computer literacy to operate the POS system and assist
Qualifications
- Previous ski/snowboard industry experience is preferred.
- Boot fitting experience preferred.
- Customer service skills required.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to use POS systems.
Responsibilities
- Assess skiers' alignment through visual and basic physiological methods.
- Determine best product fit through conversation about ability.
- Explain boot modifications and biomechanics to customers.
- Perform boot modifications and fabricate custom footbeds.
- Operate POS and handle cash following procedures.
- Support sales of related hardgoods and accessories.
- Complete daily store duties.
