Parkville Care Center is seeking a full‑time Medicaid/Resident Trust Bookkeeper to join our Business Office. This role manages accounts receivable functions in compliance with facility policies and applicable long‑term care regulations, with a focus on Medicaid billing and resident trust accounts. The Bookkeeper ensures accurate, timely resident billing and maintains strict confidentiality.
Job Responsibilities
- Follow established policies and procedures for accounts receivable bookkeeping.
- Maintain, update, and monitor computer ledgers.
- Support the Business Office Manager with day‑to‑day office functions.
- Compile and update ancillary information by payor type, date, and service type.
- Prepare and submit Medicaid claims; monitor payments and follow up as needed.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare adjustments.
- Process the daily census accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow‑up timely on Medicaid applications/redeterminations to maintain eligibility.
- Manage and reconcile resident trust accounts daily.
Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge of skilled nursing facility Medicaid accounts receivable processes and resident trust workflows.
- Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel, PCC, and RFMS (experience preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across disciplines in a multicultural environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to speak and write in English.
