Job summary

Parkville Care Center is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage accounts receivable and Medicaid claims for our post-acute residents. You will maintain ledgers, reconcile accounts, process daily census, and support office operations in a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates have experience with Medicaid AR, resident trust workflows, and strong English communication. Proficiency in PCC, RFMS, Word, Excel is preferred. Join our dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Experience with Medicaid accounts receivable in skilled nursing facilities.
• Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, PCC and RFMS.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across disciplines in a multicultural environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex financial information to stakeholders.
• English language proficiency (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Follow policies for accounts receivable bookkeeping and ensure compliance with facility policies and long-term care regulations.
• Maintain, update, and monitor computer ledgers with precision.
• Support day-to-day office functions and provide administrative support.
• Compile ancillary information by payor type, date, and service type.
• Prepare and submit Medicaid claims, monitor payments, and follow up as needed to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Reconcile accounts and prepare adjustments with high accuracy.
• Process the daily census accurately and timely.
• Follow-up on Medicaid applications/redeterminations to maintain eligibility.
• Manage and reconcile resident trust accounts daily.
