Job summary

Books-A-Million is seeking a friendly Bookseller to provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with questions and orders. You will handle cashiering, promote programs, and help maintain a welcoming sales floor.

The role requires strong communication, ability to multi-task, and basic computer/cashier skills. You will contribute to inventory, stocking, and store upkeep to ensure a great shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of required background screenings.
• Ability to greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Basic computer and cashiering skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with questions and orders.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Promote store programs and upsell products as appropriate.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and restore sales floor as needed.
