Job summary

Books A Million in Myrtle Beach is seeking a friendly Bookseller to deliver outstanding customer service, help shoppers find titles, and process transactions at the register.

You will assist with stocking, merchandising, and store upkeep while upholding company standards and loss prevention policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 and successful completion of required background screenings.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and operate a POS system.
• Retail sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, assist with orders, and handle cashiering.
• Sell products and promote company programs (Membership, Educator programs).
• Balance cash drawer within policy after each shift.
• Stock and merchandise products on the floor per guidelines and timelines.
• Maintain store appearance and recover sales floor during shifts.
• Protect company assets by following loss-prevention standards and acting with integrity.
